The work Marina con scogliera by Giuseppe Casciaro was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2016. It achieved a price of EUR 3,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Casciaro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Il mare di castro, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,692.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Marina con scogliera von Giuseppe Casciaro kam im Mai 2016 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Casciaro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Il mare di castro beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.692,23) versteigert wurde.
