Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work La sorgente nel bosco di San Cataldo. Basilicata by Giuseppe Casciaro for EUR 400.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e sculture XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 450.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Casciaro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il mare di castro in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,692.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit La sorgente nel bosco di San Cataldo. Basilicata von Giuseppe Casciaro für EUR 400,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e sculture XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 450,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Casciaro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il mare di castro im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.692,23).
