In May 2016 Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo, which included the work Cascinale by Giuseppe Casciaro. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 900.00 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Casciaro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il mare di castro in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,692.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2016 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cascinale von Giuseppe Casciaro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 900,00 und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Casciaro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il mare di castro im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.692,23).
