Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2006 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work The Incredulity of Saint Thomas by Giuseppe Bottani. The price achieved of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,581.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Bottani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Incredulity Of Saint Thomas in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 46,875.00 (€ 35,911.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Incredulity of Saint Thomas von Giuseppe Bottani zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.581,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Bottani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Incredulity Of Saint Thomas im Januar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 46.875,00 (€ 35.911,28).
