Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Miniera by Giulio Turcato for EUR 13,860.00. This price was achieved in the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale at Christies in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giulio Turcato achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande Reticolo in November 2006 with an auction result of EUR 251,175.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Miniera von Giulio Turcato für EUR 13.860,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale bei Christies in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giulio Turcato erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande Reticolo im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 251.175,00.
