Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Giulio Rosati achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in October 2021. In the Orientalist Art auction, the work The scholar sold for GBP 20,250.00 (€ 23,990.78) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giulio Rosati achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Picking the Favorite in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 512,000.00 (€ 605,558.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giulio Rosati erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Orientalist Art wurde die Arbeit The scholar für GBP 20.250,00 (€ 23.990,78) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giulio Rosati erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Picking the Favorite im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 512.000,00 (€ 605.558,84).
