Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Messenger by Giulio Rosati was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2021. The price achieved of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,927.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giulio Rosati achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Picking the Favorite in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 512,000.00 (€ 605,558.84).

Die Arbeit The Messenger von Giulio Rosati kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.927,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giulio Rosati erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Picking the Favorite im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 512.000,00 (€ 605.558,84).
