Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Senza titolo by Giulio Paolini was sold in the Contemporary Curated Milan auction at Sothebys in Milan in July 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 8,820.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giulio Paolini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indice Delle Opere Inscritto In Un Motivo Decorativo in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 629,000.00 (€ 595,531.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Senza titolo von Giulio Paolini wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated Milan bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 8.820,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giulio Paolini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indice Delle Opere Inscritto In Un Motivo Decorativo im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 629.000,00 (€ 595.531,15).
