It achieved a price of EUR 504.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giulio Paolini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indice Delle Opere Inscritto In Un Motivo Decorativo in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 629,000.00 (€ 595,531.15).

Die Arbeit Henri Matisse: Portrait d'homme von Giulio Paolini kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 504,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giulio Paolini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indice Delle Opere Inscritto In Un Motivo Decorativo im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 629.000,00 (€ 595.531,15).
