In December last year Christies in Milan held the auction Un Folle Amore: The Agrati Collection, which included the work Lotto di nove opere: by Giulio Paolini. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 882.00 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giulio Paolini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indice Delle Opere Inscritto In Un Motivo Decorativo in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 629,000.00 (€ 595,531.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Un Folle Amore: The Agrati Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lotto di nove opere: von Giulio Paolini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 882,00 und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giulio Paolini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indice Delle Opere Inscritto In Un Motivo Decorativo im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 629.000,00 (€ 595.531,15).
