In February 2002 Christies in New York held the auction House Sale, which included the work The Shared Meal by Giulio del Torre. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,640.00 (€ 6,514.21), 61% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giulio del Torre - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Shared Supper; And Washing Day, which sold at auction in June 2005 for GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,227.81).

Im Februar 2002 führte Christies in New York die Auktion House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Shared Meal von Giulio del Torre zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.640,00 (€ 6.514,21) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Giulio del Torre mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Shared Supper; And Washing Day beobachtet, die im Juni 2005 für GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.227,81) versteigert wurde.
