Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of ITL 3,000,000.00 – 5,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of ITL 3,430,000.00 (€ 3,082.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Giulio del Torre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Shared Supper; And Washing Day in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,227.81).
