In November 2005 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Giochi di ragazzi by Giulio del Torre. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,224.00 29% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Giulio del Torre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Shared Supper; And Washing Day in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,227.81).

Im November 2005 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Giochi di ragazzi von Giulio del Torre zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.224,00 und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giulio del Torre auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Shared Supper; And Washing Day im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.227,81).
