This artwork by Giovanni Lomi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Rome in June 2001. In the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction, the work Venezia, Bacino Di San Marco sold for EUR 8,575.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Giovanni Lomi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Giardini Pubblici A Firenze sold at auction in December 2008 with the realized price of EUR 10,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Giovanni Lomi erzielte im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Rom einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO wurde die Arbeit Venezia, Bacino Di San Marco für EUR 8.575,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Giovanni Lomi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Giardini Pubblici A Firenze im Dezember 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 10.000,00.
