In the Nineteenth Century European Art auction, the work Piazza dell'Erbe, Verona sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,943.30) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Lomi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Giardini Pubblici A Firenze, which sold at auction in December 2008 for EUR 10,000.00.
