Auction result well in line with expectations
The work San Francesco di Recanati by Giovanni Lomi was auctioned at Christies in Rome in November 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,200.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,232.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Lomi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Giardini Pubblici A Firenze in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 10,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit San Francesco di Recanati von Giovanni Lomi kam im November 2005 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.200,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.232,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
