This artwork by Giovanni Lomi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Rome in June 2001. In the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction, the work Nei Pressi Della Chiesa sold for EUR 4,655.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Lomi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Giardini Pubblici A Firenze, which sold at auction in December 2008 for EUR 10,000.00.
