Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings, which included the work A Sacra Conversazione: The Madonna And Child With Saints Francis And Andrew by Giovanni di Niccolò Mansueti. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,551.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni di Niccolò Mansueti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Supper at Emmaus, en grisaille, which sold at auction in July 2008 for GBP 49,250.00 (€ 62,572.68).

Im April 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Sacra Conversazione: The Madonna And Child With Saints Francis And Andrew von Giovanni di Niccolò Mansueti zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 26.551,30) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
