The price achieved of USD 485,000.00 (€ 359,259.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni di Nicocolò de Lutero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Plague at Pergamea; The Sicilian Games in January 2021 with an auction result of USD 6,238,800.00 (€ 5,141,161.93).
