In the OLD MASTER PICTURES auction, the work The Madonna and Child with Saint Bartholomew, a Saint with a book and Six Angels sold for GBP 15,535.00 (€ 22,690.28) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni del Biondo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Archangel Gabriel And The Virgin Annunciate in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 656,000.00 (€ 485,207.10).
