The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,308.58), 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Giovanni David have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Nightmare in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 49,053.37).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.308,58) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giovanni David auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Nightmare im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 49.053,37).
