Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Interior of a Prison by Giovanni Battista Scultori was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,394.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Battista Scultori have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Resurrection in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,602.80).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.394,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
