Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2003 Christies in London held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES, which included the work The Holy Family with the Infant Saint John the Baptist by Giovanni Battista Paggi. The price achieved of GBP 9,560.00 (€ 12,456.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Battista Paggi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Holy Family, which sold at auction in April 2009 for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 34,919.11).

Im April 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Holy Family with the Infant Saint John the Baptist von Giovanni Battista Paggi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.560,00 (€ 12.456,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
