The work Diana and Endymion (?) in a landscape with putti and a dog (recto); Horses drawing a chariot, a bearded figure in the foreground (verso) by Giovanni Battista Naldini was sold in the Old Master and 19th Century Drawings auction at Christies in London in July 2003. It achieved a price of GBP 7,767.50 (€ 10,152.65), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 29%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Naldini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Holy Family With The Young Saint John The Baptist in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 293,000.00 (€ 217,037.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
