In July 2015 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work Design for an equestrian monument by Giovanni Battista Naldini. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 28,353.28), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Battista Naldini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Holy Family With The Young Saint John The Baptist in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 293,000.00 (€ 217,037.04).

Im Juli 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Design for an equestrian monument von Giovanni Battista Naldini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 28.353,28) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giovanni Battista Naldini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Holy Family With The Young Saint John The Baptist im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 293.000,00 (€ 217.037,04).
