Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Giovanni Battista Ciolina could be acquired at Il Ponte in June last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Paesaggio changed hands for EUR 500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 550.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Ciolina achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Passaggio del treno a Toceno in June last year with an auction result of EUR 10,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giovanni Battista Ciolina konnte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wechselte die Arbeit Paesaggio für EUR 500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 550,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Battista Ciolina erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Passaggio del treno a Toceno im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.000,00.
