In the Old Master Paintings, European Sculpture & Antiquities auction, the work Madonna And Child sold for USD 194,500.00 (€ 138,730.39) - well above the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Battista Caracciolo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Calling Of Saint Matthew, which sold at auction in January 2016 for USD 538,000.00 (€ 496,676.51).
