The work A view of the Castel Sant'Angelo, Rome, from the south; A ruined section of the walls of Rome; A capriccio of Roman monuments, figures seated on a fallen column in the foreground; and An extensive landscape with fortified buildings among trees by Giovanni Battista Busiri was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2002. It achieved a price of GBP 940.00 (€ 1,442.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%.
