In December 2002 Christies in London held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES AND DRAWINGS, which included the work A garden with the tomb of a warrior; Cows in a meadow, a tower and outbuildings beyond; A dilapidated prison; and A classical landscape, Roman pines beyond by Giovanni Battista Busiri. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,116.25 (€ 1,713.50), 40% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Busiri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Six Roman Views: The Colosseum; The Temple Of Vesta At Tivoli; The Waterfalls At Tivoli; The Pyramid Of Caius Cestius; The Temple Of Vesta In Rome; The Tomb Of Caecilia Metella in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 41,250.00 (€ 53,102.43).

Im Dezember 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A garden with the tomb of a warrior; Cows in a meadow, a tower and outbuildings beyond; A dilapidated prison; and A classical landscape, Roman pines beyond von Giovanni Battista Busiri zur Versteigerung kam. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Six Roman Views: The Colosseum; The Temple Of Vesta At Tivoli; The Waterfalls At Tivoli; The Pyramid Of Caius Cestius; The Temple Of Vesta In Rome; The Tomb Of Caecilia Metella im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 41.250,00 (€ 53.102,43).
