Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Recto: A Draped Standing Male Figure With Another Sketched Figure And Two Other Profiles; Verso: Two Studies For The Marriage At Cana by Giovanni Antonio Sogliani was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2011. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,345.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Antonio Sogliani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Angel Facing Right In A Niche; And An Angel Facing Left In A Niche in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 614,500.00 (€ 739,148.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Recto: A Draped Standing Male Figure With Another Sketched Figure And Two Other Profiles; Verso: Two Studies For The Marriage At Cana von Giovanni Antonio Sogliani kam im Juli 2011 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion.
