With a written authentification by Chris Fischer, Copenhagen, from 2nd April 1998, who points out the possible relation of the drawing to a painting of a Madonna by Sogliani in the cathedral of Pisa as well as to two drawings in the Musée de Beaux-Arts, Lille (Pluchart 45) and in the Cabinet des Dessins, Louvre, Inv. 216 verso.
