Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work The Continence Of Scipio by Giovanni Antonio Pellegrini for USD 21,250.00 (€ 17,402.34). This price was achieved in the auction Master Paintings and Sculpture Day Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house.
