The work Invisibile (Invisible) by Giovanni Anselmo was sold in the The Italian Sale auction at Christies in London in October 2016. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 173,000.00 (€ 192,727.24), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Anselmo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Torsione in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 6,437,000.00 (€ 5,855,011.82).

Die Arbeit Invisibile (Invisible) von Giovanni Anselmo wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion The Italian Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 173.000,00 (€ 192.727,24) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Anselmo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Torsione im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.437.000,00 (€ 5.855.011,82).
