Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reclining Male Nude; Separate Studies of his Left Leg and Left Hand by Giovanni Alberti was sold in the Master Works on Paper from Five Centuries auction at Sothebys in London in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 6,018.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Alberti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Recto And Verso: Studies Of A Seated Male Nude, And Of His Raised Left Arm in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 93,848.16).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 6.018,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
