The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,633.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Alberti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Recto And Verso: Studies Of A Seated Male Nude, And Of His Raised Left Arm in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 93,848.16).
