In November 2007 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Paesaggio Asolano by Gino Rossi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 50,650.00 69% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gino Rossi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Porto bretone sold at auction in December 2002 with the realized price of EUR 93,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 69 % übertroffen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paesaggio Asolano von Gino Rossi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 50.650,00 und damit 69% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Gino Rossi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Porto bretone im Dezember 2002 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 93.000,00.
