Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Senza Titolo by Gino de Dominicis. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 54,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gino de Dominicis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Senza Titolo in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 492,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Gino de Dominicis zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 54.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gino de Dominicis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Senza Titolo im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 492.500,00.
