Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gino de Dominicis achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in May 2011. In the Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work Figura sold for EUR 16,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gino de Dominicis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Senza Titolo in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 492,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gino de Dominicis erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Figura für EUR 16.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gino de Dominicis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Senza Titolo im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 492.500,00.
