In June 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Tavern interior with a feasting party by Gillis van Tilborgh II for SEK 36,000.00 (€ 4,109.25). This price was achieved in the auction The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gillis van Tilborgh II achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Elegant Interior With Twelve Gentleman Surrounded By Paintings And Leather Wall Coverings With A Game Of Backgammon At Center in February 2018 with an auction result of USD 915,000.00 (€ 749,324.38).
