This work without title by Gieve Patel was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in May 2006. It achieved a price of USD 54,000.00 (€ 42,079.02), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54%. Admittedly, works by Gieve Patel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Off Lamington Road in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 149,000.00 (€ 208,413.78).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gieve Patel kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 54.000,00 (€ 42.079,02) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gieve Patel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Off Lamington Road im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 149.000,00 (€ 208.413,78).
