This artwork by Giacomo Grosso achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May 2016. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Ritratto del pittore Giuseppe Piana sold for EUR 1,700.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Grosso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sacra Famiglia in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 52,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giacomo Grosso erzielte im Mai 2016 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wurde die Arbeit Ritratto del pittore Giuseppe Piana für EUR 1.700,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giacomo Grosso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sacra Famiglia im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.000,00.
