This artwork by Giacomo Ceruti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2017. In the Old Masters including Old Master & British Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work Portrait Of Johann Matthias Von Der Schulenburg (1661-1747), Half-Length, In Armour sold for GBP 175,000.00 (€ 196,936.87) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giacomo Ceruti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Il Bravo; E Vecchia Contadina in November 2006 with an auction result of EUR 1,264,350.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Giacomo Ceruti erzielte im Dezember 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters including Old Master & British Drawings and Watercolours wurde die Arbeit Portrait Of Johann Matthias Von Der Schulenburg (1661-1747), Half-Length, In Armour für GBP 175.000,00 (€ 196.936,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giacomo Ceruti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Il Bravo; E Vecchia Contadina im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.264.350,00.
