Auction result well in line with expectations

(sheet size) by Giacomo Balla was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Bonhams in London in October last year. The price achieved of GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,853.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Balla achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Automobile In Corsa in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 11,477,000.00 (€ 8,435,249.15).

(sheet size) von Giacomo Balla wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.750,00 (€ 14.853,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giacomo Balla erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Automobile In Corsa im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.477.000,00 (€ 8.435.249,15).
