Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings, which included the work Head of a saint by Giacinto Brandi. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,724.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giacinto Brandi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Sybil Holding A Paper in May 2019 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,128.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Head of a saint von Giacinto Brandi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.724,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giacinto Brandi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Sybil Holding A Paper im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.128,35).
