In the Old Masters auction, the work Head Of A Bearded Man, With Compositional Studies En Grisaille sold for USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,146.83) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Giacinto Brandi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A Sybil Holding A Paper sold at auction in May 2019 with the realized price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,128.35).
