Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Ghasem Hajizadeh was sold in the Contemporary Art / Arab & Iranian auction at Sothebys in London in October 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,699.56) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ghasem Hajizadeh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Taj Saltaneh, which sold at auction in October 2015 for USD 65,000.00 (€ 58,866.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ghasem Hajizadeh wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Art / Arab & Iranian bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.699,56) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Ghasem Hajizadeh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Taj Saltaneh beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für USD 65.000,00 (€ 58.866,15) versteigert wurde.
