Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Iranian marriage Primeur (First Marriage) by Ghasem Hajizadeh. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,539.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ghasem Hajizadeh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Taj Saltaneh in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 65,000.00 (€ 58,866.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Iranian marriage Primeur (First Marriage) von Ghasem Hajizadeh zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.539,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ghasem Hajizadeh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Taj Saltaneh im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 65.000,00 (€ 58.866,15).
