Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Art Moderne & Contemporain Africain, which included the work Yellow Flowers, 2020 by Getahun Assefa Balcha. The price achieved of EUR 7,650.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Other works by Getahun Assefa Balcha have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work Girl with Cherries was auctioned for GBP 11,970.00 (€ 14,191.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Art Moderne & Contemporain Africain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yellow Flowers, 2020 von Getahun Assefa Balcha zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.650,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Getahun Assefa Balcha konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit Girl with Cherries für GBP 11.970,00 (€ 14.191,78) versteigert.
