Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2021 Bonhams in Paris held the auction Art Moderne & Contemporain Africain, which included the work Girls with Flowers, 2020 by Getahun Assefa Balcha. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,925.00. Other works by Getahun Assefa Balcha have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 11,970.00 (€ 14,191.78) in March last year for the work Girl with Cherries.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Art Moderne & Contemporain Africain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girls with Flowers, 2020 von Getahun Assefa Balcha zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.925,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Getahun Assefa Balcha haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.970,00 (€ 14.191,78) im März letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Girl with Cherries beobachtet.
