Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings Day Sale, which included the work The Healing Of Tobias by Girolamo Troppa. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 32,821.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Girolamo Troppa have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2017 the work The Healing of Tobias was auctioned for GBP 43,750.00 (€ 51,270.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Healing Of Tobias von Girolamo Troppa zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 32.821,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Girolamo Troppa konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2017 die Arbeit The Healing of Tobias für GBP 43.750,00 (€ 51.270,68) versteigert.
